ORDNUNG
Faith &
Practice of Grapevine Home Fellowship
Guests
Members may
bring non-believers as guests for which the host member
is responsible. Before inviting guests, members are
encouraged to share our Statement of Faith and Ordnung
with them and to present an overview of how our
gatherings will generally run. The host should expect to
introduce their guest to the assembly. An Elder should
be notified in advance if a non-believer will be
attending.
Communion
Our
assembly observes “Close” Communion as part of a full
meal. This means that all professing believers, whether
visitors or not, may participate in the sacrament.
Because Communion is the sign of the New Covenant
arrangement between God and mankind, those who do not
confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, including the
young children of believing parents are excluded. Matt
26:17-30; Mark 14:12-26; Luke 22:7-20;
